I typed a goddamn novella here and clicked the back button on my phone and *POOF* it is G O N E. No way to retrieve it since it was on android. I spent more time searching for a solution than I did typing my original comment. So I got pissed off and gave in, I'm now on my laptop which allows for chrome extensions that SAVE FORM DATA ๐Ÿ˜ค

So, I started in the middle of the video, because... FIFTY MINUTES, SIS? ๐Ÿ˜‚
Nah I'm not hating, I am the queeeeen of tangents; ESPECIALLY if i'm on about something I'm passionate about or brings me joy. So, hell yeah I'm glad that Rainbow Brite ignites that fire in you. And I love that you share it... All fifty minutes worth bahhaha.
Going try to recreate my original comment now...

Do you think that Rainbow Brite and the people of Rainbowland would feel the unease and upset at an inverted rainbow that most people these days feel about an inverted cross? ๐Ÿค”

If you haven't seen it, pleeease do yourself a favor and youtube "double rainbow guy". Probably top 10 youtube vids for me, the guy is having a full blown spiritual awakening and shift it consciousness, and he is SO OPEN and it's just the most genuine show of human emotion (thanks, psychedelics, for bringing the spirit right to the surface. A double rainbow now symbolizes for me the parting of the "clouds" of ego and social conditioning and allowing the absolute love and light that is our spirit, and it just shines like a gosh darn ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒˆ ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Onto the next bit, you should ALSO check out the eye structure of the mantis shrimp. Not only are their bodies freakin rainbows, but they have 4-6x the number of receptors for color. It's a WILD concept to imagine what we'd see if we could take a glimpse through their eyes.

As for the whole bit of the girl's hometown being Le Noir, literally "The Black", is definitely an obvious play for symbolism. The fact that the girls, one of whom is now the bringer and wielder of the entirety of pure light (and love) rising from, literally, the blackness. Light can, and often is, able to find a way to poke a pinhole through the dark... and then explode into the all encompassing beauty and love that we are all made of ✨๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŒ  Also, PLEEEASE don't pronounce Le Noir like the old lady name Leanore anymore. You just said it so many times and you deserve to know that you could use an adjustment on your pronunciation ๐Ÿ˜‰
Oh,also, WHAT THE FUCK WILLOW'S PARENTS, RAISING YOUR BLACK DAUGHTER IN A TOWN CALLED THE BLACK??! Fail, guys, no wonder she dipped out with Gloomy right quick ๐Ÿคท Can't say I blame the girl.

I know I had more to comment on but I don't remember and it's gotten SO LATE since I freaking originally began this damn thing ๐Ÿ˜’

I really was getting into this whole concept, I love the portrayal of Twink as a total nerd with a crazy vocabulary (though reading it to my daughter is a bit tough at times, have to reword his dialogue as I go AND keep my voice "in character" ๐Ÿ˜›

I think it's cool as heck that you're so into this thing, and I really hope they pick it up for some more! Thanks for the videos and the enthusiasm, chica. Stay ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’Ž๐ŸŒบ

LOL!!! So sorry that your phone lost your original post, but I'm so glad you came back to share your story and re-type the entire thing!

Sorry for talking for 50 minutes ๐Ÿ˜‚ Yeah, I get majorly carried away when it's something I'm passionate about...especially RB. Thank you for sticking with it instead of being all, "This video is HOW long?? KTHXBAI!" ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've never thought of the inhabitants of Rainbow Land viewing the rainbow with the same reverence that Christians view the cross, but it's an interesting idea! I don't necessarily think they would see an inverted rainbow as sacrilege, but it would certainly cause unease and worry. And now I want a Rainbow Brite storybook about the rainbow being upside down and how Rainbow fixes it...lol

I *love* the Double Rainbow Guy!!! I must've watched that video 100 times - his joy is contagious :D And I still say, "Double rainbow all the way!" on a regular basis...haha

AND I just googled mantis shrimp...and I want to be reincarnated as one. SO COOL!! If you haven't heard of it, look up tetrachromacy. Some humans have 4 color receptor cones instead of 3 and can see more colors than everyone else! I've never been tested for it, but my husband swears I'm a tetrachromat...lol

I just looked up how to pronounce le noir and I'm terribly sorry for offending your ears ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanks for educating me! BUT, I found out since creating this video that the comic's author actually grew up in a town called Le Noir in North Carolina, and, as a southerner, I can tell you with 99% certainty that the way I pronounced it is how people would pronounce the town's name ๐Ÿ˜‚ But it also explains why he had a black character living there - it was just an homage to where he grew up that happened to be related to color.

I can imagine your struggle reworking Twink's lines on the fly! lol Well done! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Thanks for your amazing comment!! Hopefully, I'll be recording more videos soon, now that the weather is cooling down (it's way too hot on the third floor in the summer!). And my fingers are still crossed that more issues will come out someday! Stay awesome ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ
